This last month the Delta District team hosted our two annual training days, one in Modesto, and the other in Rocklin. I am more than pleased with the number of units that were represented at those gatherings where we sang, worshipped, laughed, munched, and learned together, and re-affirmed our PURPOSE as United Methodist Women. Greetings, UMW Sisters! I am feeling a bit awed by the challenge that I have taken up. As I begin my year as Delta District President, I have to thank Carol Edwards, who has been most gracious in answering my many questions and sharing her expertise, and Doris Young, who has been communicating with me and will "tutor" me in learning the many computer skills I'll need.

So, that having been said, I want you to know that I am honored and blessed to serve as president of the Delta District Team! I'm enjoying getting to know the other officers on the team. [more]
